While Manny Ramirez continues to make the right business decisions, he keeps making the wrong baseball decision. Yes, we understand now that Manny refused the new 2 year $45 million offer because the money was deferred, and we understand that its a poor business decision to accept a deal under those conditions, but this isn’t helping his baseball situation. While baseball is flush with cash from the 2008 season’s unprecedented revenues, owners and GMs alike our hedging their bets and not spending as much – not to mention Manny is a major pain in the backside even when he’s relatively happy.
